80 Faces

Favorite portraits from 2008-2010.

A few of these people were well-known, even famous; most are not. Sometimes, as I sort pictures I have taken for The Chief (the newspaper that covers New York City workers), labor unions, city agencies, and Lower East Side ‘zines, a portrait will stop me. Even in media eventspress conferences, rallies, speeches, award ceremonies–people sometimes reveal a part of their nature, a look sincere or wily, wide-open or cynical, serious or humorous.
